In this quick and easy tutorial, online training resource MAXDEPTH reveals two methods for creating a UV coordinate pass using the Extra Tex render element in V-Ray for Maya. UV coordinate passes can be handy for NUKE and Flame artists, allowing them to remap and add textures to CG elements without the need to re-render the CG direct from Maya or 3ds Max.
